announced that they were expecting.
I'm not sure if I can approve
of this way of life they're directing.
Does the apple come down or go sideways?
My life is becoming a wreck!
If I jump from the top of a building
will I float or just break my neck?

Okay...the only reason this poem saw the light of day was because I wrote an essay on the individuals who won a Nobel prize for discovering QMM/MM. Which is essentially the combination of quantum and molecular mechanics. Fun stuff (sarcasm). To sum it up. Molecular mechanics is kind of your bread and butter. We understand it through math...so it's relatively easy to follow. Quantum mechanics is your bread and butter on the floor turned inside out and de toasted. There aren't really any definitive rules. Shit moves differently, laws of physics don't apply...etc. And that is throwing definitions around really loosely. So these guys got these two form of mechanics to 'work' together...something that was previously considered an impossible feat. Both terrifying and fascinating.

I have to say you hooked me with the first line. I actually just finished reading Feynman's QED and my head is spinning. XD
Back to your poem, I love it. I think it perfectly captures how a normal person feels when encouraging the beautiful, but terrifying world of Quantam Mechanics. The pacing is really nice and I love the word choice. I love the play on ideas in the first three stanzas. It is beautifully phrases. I do think the last stanza is a little off and might need to be looked at again, but other than that beautiful poem.
